New field title

Last weekend we attended the once a year HRC hunt test, and finally finished Sketch's Started title.  He can only run one test a year because Rick is always judging one of the Started stakes!  This year I also entered him in Seasoned the next day, but the first day just destroyed my right leg, so we stayed home.  Too bad because Sketch had a LOT of fun - probably why my leg hurts ...

Two kinds of points

On Saturday, Sketch was BW for two more breed Ch points.

and on Sunday he won Second in Utility for another OTCh point. 

 

Fresno follies

For some reason I thought it was a good idea to enter four trials the weekend after we got home from Hawai'i.  The first day, Sketch flunked both classes because he was WAY too happy.  Day two, we are stuck in Third, but at least the placement in Utility was worth a point!

He was also Hi Score Sporting.

Tomorrow we do breed as well; I may die ...

You Are HOME!!!

Rick and I went on vacation to Hawai'i with no dogs so Sketch had to stay with Wendy.  This was his reaction when I got home.

Starting the new year out right!

We headed up to Sacramento for a match and trial, and stayed over at one of Sketch's favorite places - Auntie Iris's Andreland!  The match went well, we did some minor field training Saturday afternoon.  On Sunday at the trial, Sketch Q'd in both classes with some really nice work (and some barking!) for his third UDX leg AND he won Second in Open for two more OTCh points!  I was really happy with that as it was a big entry with some nice dogs.

He was also High Score Sporting dog, beating all the Goldens.

I was eating a sandwich - do you think he wanted some?  ;-)

Dog show

This past weekend we were entered in both conformation and obedience, but since I had a virus of some sort, all I could handle was the conformation.  All that running around the ring with various dogs damn near killed me, but it was worth it as Sketcher won five more points, including a major!
