Photos
There was a photographer ringside at the trials last weekend - here are some of the pics I bought.

Out of the way!
The AKC obedience rules are changing May 1st, including taking out the stays in Open and, for some unknown reason, replacing them with "command discrimination" exercises. Which will be position changes sort of like in Utility, except voice can be used, so they will probably be confusing for the dogs doing both classes for awhile. I wanted to get Sketch's Open win out of the way before then, so I didn't have that additional stress and this past weekend we got it done!
He was also High in Trial, plus Q'd in Utility for his fifth UDX leg. On Sunday he was Second in Open for another point so he earned five points total for the weekend, bringing him to 11.

New field title
Last weekend we attended the once a year HRC hunt test, and finally finished Sketch's Started title. He can only run one test a year because Rick is always judging one of the Started stakes! This year I also entered him in Seasoned the next day, but the first day just destroyed my right leg, so we stayed home. Too bad because Sketch had a LOT of fun - probably why my leg hurts ...
